How credits work on RPDive, what a turn costs, and what you get for what you pay. The prices below are read live from the same list the wallet sells from.
What credits are
Playing a turn costs credits. $1 buys 1,000 credits, and larger packs add bonus credits. Credits are a licence to use RPDive: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or sold.
What a turn costs
Every narrator has a fixed rate, a number of credits per message. You see it in the narrator picker and in the rate table in your wallet, and it is the same for every turn with that narrator. Prices are never shown inside the story.
When a rate changes
A rate raise is announced ahead, normally at least 7 days before it starts, and your wallet shows it. RPDive may change a rate the same day when something unforeseen forces it, such as a provider raising its prices. A rate cut applies at once.
Where credits work
Credits are sold on rpdive.com, and paid through Stripe. Credits you buy, and credits a plan delivers, work on rpdive.com only: they can be spent on rpdive.com for SFW and M17 worlds, and not on rpdive.red or for an 18+ world. Purchases are not available on rpdive.red for now. Invite rewards work on both sites. Credits from a promo code work only on the site where you redeemed it. A turn spends free credits first, then credits of the site you are on, then credits that work on both. Your wallet shows what you hold and where each part works.
Free credits
- Invites: you get 100 credits each time someone you invite verifies their email, for up to 20 people a month, and 400 more the first time one of them buys credits or a plan. Your invite link is in your wallet.
- Promo codes, which you redeem in your wallet and which need a verified email.
Packs and the plan

The plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. You cancel in Manage billing, in your wallet, and the plan ends at the close of the month you have paid for. Credits that come with the plan never expire.
Refunds
You can ask for a refund of a purchase within 14 days of paying for it, by writing to [email protected]. The Terms of Service set out how credits you have already spent within those 14 days are treated. After 14 days, purchases are not refundable except where the law requires it.
