Privacy

What we store

• your email address and display name;
• sign-in sessions, kept in a cookie, with the IP address and browser they were made from;
• the transcripts of the stories you play, kept so you can come back and resume them;
• the worlds and characters you write;
• the images you upload, such as avatars and world covers;
• your credit balance, and a record of what you spent credits on.

To diagnose the storyteller we also keep the prompts sent to the model for each turn. Those logs are deleted after 30 days.

When something breaks, a crash report goes to an error tracker. It is set up not to collect your account details, cookies or the contents of your requests.

Who else handles it

OpenRouter, which relays each turn to the language model that writes the story; our hosting provider; Cloudflare, for the network and image storage; and Sentry, for crash reports.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Deleting your account

Open the account menu and choose Delete account. If you have published worlds, unpublish them first. Deleting removes your account and profile, your sign-in sessions, your avatars, your play sessions and their transcripts, your draft worlds, and your credit balance and its history. The record of what was spent stays, with your account detached from it, so it no longer names you. Database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data is gone from them after that.

The image files you uploaded are not yet removed from storage automatically when the account goes. Write to support and we will remove them.
